    Measure

    We measure the surround, hearth, and any media wall details on site. Measure appointments are scheduled within a few short business days.

    Fabrication

    Your surround is cut and finished in our Bloomington shop, with edges and cutouts matched to your insert's specifications.

    Installation

    Our installation team sets the surround, hearth, and mantel, and leaves the room ready for the first fire.

Granite, quartzite, and porcelain handle heat well and are the most common choices. Quartz can be used with proper clearance from the firebox. We confirm the right fit for your specific insert during your consultation.
In many cases, yes. Full-height stone and porcelain panels can be installed over sound existing masonry. We evaluate the existing structure at your measure appointment.
We fabricate and install the stone surround, hearth, and mantel. The insert and any gas or electrical work are handled by your fireplace or HVAC contractor, and we coordinate dimensions with them.
Yes. Many clients carry the same material from the kitchen to the fireplace, and we can often fabricate both from the same material lot for a consistent look.
